Every LHEATHER jacket is made to order from your measurements, hide selection, and model specification. We do not maintain finished stock for exchange.

This policy covers deposit refunds, cancellations before hide allocation, defects at delivery, and transit damage. It does not cover change-of-mind after manufacturing has begun.

The waitlist deposit that secures your place in the production queue is fully refundable for three calendar days from the date payment is confirmed.

If you cancel within that window, the full deposit is returned to your original payment method within seven business days. No questions beyond a brief confirmation email.

After the three-day window, you may still cancel before your specific hide is allocated to your build. In that case the deposit is refunded minus any payment processing fees charged by the gateway.

Once hide allocation is confirmed on your commission record, the deposit becomes non-refundable. At that point materials and artisan time are reserved exclusively for your jacket.

When manufacturing begins, the commission balance becomes due before dispatch as stated in your order confirmation. Cancellations after hide allocation are not eligible for deposit refund.

If LHEATHER cannot fulfil your commission for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including deposit and any balance collected.

Inspect your jacket on receipt. If there is a structural defect, incorrect specification versus your approved quote, or clear transit damage, contact us within seven days with photos and your commission number.

We will assess remotely first. Where required, we arrange collection, repair, or replacement at our cost. Fit preference alone, without a measurable deviation from submitted measurements, is not treated as a defect.

If the jacket does not fit as specified, contact us within fourteen days of delivery with front, side, and back photos while wearing the piece. We compare against your original measurement sheet and commission notes.

Minor adjustments may be resolved with local tailoring guidance. Structural fit issues attributable to our pattern are remediated by the atelier. We do not offer open-ended exchange for a different size once a commission is complete.

Email order@lheather.in from the address used at commission. Include your name, commission or order reference, and a clear description of the request: refund, cancellation, defect, or fit review.

We respond within two business days with next steps. Do not ship a jacket back without written return authorisation; unauthorised returns cannot be accepted at the atelier.
