Support
Commissions, build times, measuring, authenticity, and aftercare, without ticket queues or anonymous inboxes. One thread per jacket, from reservation to delivery.
The Patron Journey
A commission is a single thread from your measurements to delivery. No anonymous queues; you always know which stage the build is in and who is accountable for it.
Commission your buildYour reservation confirms your intent and secures your place in the upcoming production window. No payment is taken at this stage.
Your hide enters selection. Our craftsman reviews the grain, weight and texture against your jacket specification. You will hear from us when it is approved.
When the pre-order window opens, you will receive a direct email from our founder announcing that your build is ready to commission.
We confirm your total price and arrange the deposit invoice with you directly. Your specific hide is allocated once the commission is confirmed.
Manufacturing begins. You will receive touchpoint updates via email throughout the build: Hide Selected → Panels Cut → Stitching → QC Passed → Dispatched.
Build windows reflect hand work and hide curing, not factory batching. Status updates when a model is open for new commissions.

Chest: measure around the fullest part, under the arms, with a relaxed breath. The tape should sit level front and back.
Shoulders: seam to seam across the back, or point to point where you want the jacket to sit. This dimension drives sleeve pitch more than chest does.
Sleeve: from shoulder seam to wrist bone with the arm slightly bent. If you routinely wear heavy knits, note that in the commission thread; we can add length without changing the block.
When to size up: if you are between two chest measurements, choose the larger and we adjust taper through the side panels. Never size down to chase a fashion fit; full-grain does not stretch on command.
Yes, we offer repairs and maintenance. Standard charges apply, you will be informed beforehand of the charges before we begin your maintenance work.

Every LHEATHER jacket ships with artefacts that tie the object to its builder and specification. If you are buying resale, these are the checkpoints.
The introduction
A printed craftsman card names the person who built your jacket and the date it left Kanpur. It should match the records we can verify from your commission email.
The quote / certificate
Your approved quote lists hide origin, hardware, and sizing notes. Later jackets include a concise certificate block: batch, tannage, and serial where applicable.
We do not photograph one-off commissions for approval galleries, as each hide varies. You approve materials from swatches and reference builds; final patina will be yours alone.
Yes, within the tannages we stock for your model. We will note grain character and weight on the quote so there are no surprises at cutting.
Contact us within the stated window with photos wearing the piece. Minor adjustments are often resolved locally; structural issues are reviewed case by case against your original measurements.
Yes. Duties and import rules are the recipient's responsibility. We declare full value for insurance and provide the paperwork your carrier requires.

Our jackets are crafted from high-quality materials such as full-grain and top-grain leather, known for their durability, texture, and ability to age beautifully. Each piece is designed with attention to detail, precision stitching, and premium hardware to ensure long-lasting performance and timeless style.
We primarily use full-grain and top-grain leather. These are considered the highest quality grades, offering superior strength, natural texture, and a rich patina that improves with time.
With proper care, a premium leather jacket can last decades. Over time, the leather softens and develops a unique character, making each jacket truly one of a kind.
To maintain its quality: store it on a wide, padded hanger, keep it in a cool dry place, use a leather conditioner periodically, and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and moisture.
Our jackets are designed for a tailored fit. We recommend selecting your usual size for a snug, fitted look. If you plan to layer underneath, consider sizing up. Please refer to our size guide for detailed measurements.
